Catching a wave in landlocked Kissimmee seems like only a dream. But tourists and Central Florida locals can experience the rush of sliding, riding and surfing waves.

The new $4 million indoor aquatic recreation venue is be located at 5151 Kyngs Heath Road, on the Vacation Villas at FantasyWorld Resort property and will appeal to family participants of all ages.

In addition to the indoor wave experience, visitors also can enjoy lite dining and a surf shop. Fantasy Surf can accommodate large groups and parties and unique, memorable custom events.

“We are creating a Central Florida experience that will not only appeal to tourists but to school and corporate groups, board sport aficionados and people who want to learn a new sport,” said Richardson.

Approximately 300 construction tradesmen worked to build the 14,000 square foot facility. Fantasy Surf employs 11 full-time employees and will be open seven days a week throughout the year. The venue is available for private events and offers promotional programs for Central Florida hospitality employees.
